A Night of Fright at Busch Gardens Williamsburg!

Having kicked off our spooky season with a visit to Orlando for Howl-O-Scream 2022 at Seaworld Florida, we couldn’t help but keep the party going with a visit to a Seaworld (Busch Gardens) park a little closer to home. And so it was that we loaded up the car and made our way out to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a wild night of fun and fear at Howl-O-Scream 2022, Virginia edition! BGW offered an event every bit as amazing as that of Seaworld Orlando’s, but the event in this less aquatically-themed venue was different in all the right ways. We enjoyed returning houses/mazes such as ‘Witch of the Woods’ and ‘Killarney Diner’, re-imagined attractions such as the ‘Phantom of the Festhaus’ performance and ‘Nevermore Chapter 2’, and all-new event offerings such as ‘Death Water Bayou’ and ‘Inferno’. While we elected not to board any rides - though quite a few were open and operating after dark - we otherwise had a chance to experience every event-specific offering that was running during our late September visit!
