Why Every Disney World Fan Should Visit Disneyland

Think you’ve experienced all that Disney has to offer just because you’ve been to Walt Disney World? Think again—Disneyland offers a completely different kind of magic, with more unique attractions, a relaxed atmosphere, and spontaneous character interactions that make every visit feel special. From the incredible food scene at Disney California Adventure to the historic charm of Walt’s original park, here’s why every Disney World fan should make the trip to Anaheim at least once.

Holiday Magic at Busch Gardens' Christmas Town

One of our favorite places to celebrate the holiday season is Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and we were thrilled to make our return to this award-winning park for Christmas Town 2024. The park boasts over 10 million twinkling lights on display, nearly a dozen live performances, character meets including the jolly ol’ elf himself, all in addition to world-class rides, coasters and experiences!

Christmas Candylane 2024 at Hersheypark!

Season’s Greetings from the Sweetest Place on Earth! We’ve taken to formally kicking off our holiday season with a late November visit to Hersheypark for their annual Christmas Candylane event, and we were excited to continue that tradition this year. Normally, we plan a “snack crawl” that takes us all over the park for both sweet and savory seasonal treats. This year, however, the savory offerings seemed to be more limited…so we instead built an itinerary around the events, the characters and the experiences offered throughout the park.

Our Surprise Day at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

When we were planning our itinerary for our summer trip to Orlando, Disney’s Hollywood Studios was not on our radar. Although Disney’s Hollywood Studios isn’t our favorite of the four Walt Disney World parks, it does have some of our favorite attractions - including MuppetVision 3D, Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance and more…so we were excited to be able to spend an impromptu day at the park!

Thrills and Chills Return to Hersheypark for Dark Nights 2024!

If you’re a fan of the spooky, the scary or the darkest side of dark chocolate…look no further for your Halloween fix than Hersheypark Dark Nights! This park-hosted scare event delivers a thrilling, immersive experience that has only grown in scale and intensity since its debut. With five haunted houses, including the highly anticipated Estate of Evil, three scare zones and a wide array of seasonal snacks and merchandise, Dark Nights continued to expand and impress in 2024!

Is Halloween Horror Nights Better in Hollywood?

For nearly three decades, banners saying ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ have been raised at not one but two different theme parks in North America - one in Orlando, FL, and the other in Hollywood, CA. So, which campus puts on the best version of Halloween Horror Nights? To make that determination, let’s take a look at the seven deadly things that make HHN the event that it is on both coasts.

Our Aqua-mazing Day at Seaworld Orlando!

It’s been some time since our last visit to Seaworld Orlando, and despite the bad weather that was brewing, we were determined to make it out to this aqua-mazing park and claim the two brand-new roller coaster credits that lay waiting for us. If you’ve never been to Seaworld Orlando, we’re here to give you a long list of reasons why you should make it a part of your next Central Florida vacation!

Our Perfect Day at EPCOT!

One does not simply sleep in on the first day of a Walt Disney World vacation; as it happened, we were ready to hit the ground running, and our first gate was the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow…more conventionally known as EPCOT. Joined by our friend Frances, a fellow creator and Florida local, we took on almost every attraction and a number of first-time experiences at this Disney park in one single, perfect day!

Summer Snacks at Hersheypark!

Each year brings new treats, sweets and savory food items to Hersheypark, and it’s become a tradition of ours to take a little stroll through our home park and pick up some of the new and interesting culinary creations to see what we think. This year, we also upgraded to the brand new Giant Size passholder tier, so we had a one-time fast track to use on any eligible ride as well as the new Giant Size lounge to check out!

Coasters and Cuisines at Busch Gardens' Food & Wine 2024!

It’s become an annual tradition of ours to make our way to Busch Gardens Williamsburg at least once every summer towards the end of Food & Wine season to check out all the delectable dishes that the event offers! In our opinion, this is one of the best festivals at the park, because the variety of food and entertainment offerings increases exponentially! So, what’s new for 2024?

We Returned to Dorney Park 4 Years Later!

This year, we made our glorious return to Dorney Park, home of the new-for-2024 B&M dive coaster Iron Menace! The park’s latest addition is its first new coaster in almost twenty years, and stands at 160 feet with a 95-degree drop all but consuming the skyline. Naturally, a coaster of this make, scale and reputation drew coaster enthusiasts from all over the country, and we were proud to be among them!
