It’s been some time since our last visit to Seaworld Orlando, and despite the bad weather that was brewing, we were determined to make it out to this aqua-mazing park and claim the two brand-new roller coaster credits that lay waiting for us. If you’ve never been to Seaworld Orlando, we’re here to give you a long list of reasons why you should make it a part of your next Central Florida vacation!
Each year brings new treats, sweets and savory food items to Hersheypark, and it’s become a tradition of ours to take a little stroll through our home park and pick up some of the new and interesting culinary creations to see what we think. This year, we also upgraded to the brand new Giant Size passholder tier, so we had a one-time fast track to use on any eligible ride as well as the new Giant Size lounge to check out!
This year, we made our glorious return to Dorney Park, home of the new-for-2024 B&M dive coaster Iron Menace! The park’s latest addition is its first new coaster in almost twenty years, and stands at 160 feet with a 95-degree drop all but consuming the skyline. Naturally, a coaster of this make, scale and reputation drew coaster enthusiasts from all over the country, and we were proud to be among them!
Universal Destinations & Experiences has just announced titles and details about all five of the themed lands throughout the brand new ‘Epic Universe’ theme park coming to Orlando in 2025! We’re diving into each one of these lands in as much detail as we can offer, and suffice it to say, we have never been more excited to see these ‘portals’ open next year!
The holiday season brings some of the merriest, cheeriest and most festive fun of our November and December to Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia, and we chose to fight the holiday crowds in order to experience Christmas Town early on!
The holiday offerings at Hersheypark’s 2023 Christmas Candylane Event included seasonal snacks, ride overlays, Santa’s reindeer, festive shows, and 5 million twinkling lights on display, just to name a few - and you know that we weren’t about to miss out on the first-ever meet and greet with Ms. Claus and her hardworking elves!
Located in rural Sevenum, just a few short minutes from the German border, Attractiepark Toverland has it all - including coasters, shows, water rides and immersive theming that transports you to a world of magic and fantasy.
During our second day at Efteling, we took on dark ride favorites such as Fata Morgana and Carnival Festival, while setting aside some time for new coaster credits like De Vliegende Hollander and Joris en de Draak, and water rides like Piraña!

The long-awaited day has come! Today we ventured back to one of our favorite semi-local theme parks to be among the first to ride Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s newest attraction, DarKoaster: Escape the Storm. After more than a year away, it was high time that we set course for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to collect two more coaster credits, invert our stomachs on the world’s tallest Screamin' Swing, and frolic with the giraffes!

While we elected not to board any rides - though quite a few were open and operating after dark - we otherwise had a chance to experience every event-specific offering that was running at Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream event during our late September visit!
We visited Seaworld for their first official Howl-O-Scream event in 2021 and we had such an incredible time at the limited (inaugural) event that we knew we couldn’t help but return to the Sirens’ clutches for 2022!
