Soaking Up the Spooks at HHN31

Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, FL is a must-do spooky season event for many haunt enthusiasts, and after our first visit last year, we could not wait to go back for the 2022 event! We started our beautiful Florida day with a visit to the resort-guest-exclusive “Universal Monsters Gallery of Legends” Cabana Bay Resort. This charming pop-up experience provides plenty of photo-ops, all themed to the Universal Monsters. On our way to Universal Studios for the main event, we were suddenly reminded that we were indeed in Florida as the heavens opened and a torrential downpour began. Ponchos and umbrellas in hand, we faced our weather demons and made a beeline for the first house we could find in the park. Our local friend Mitch (Our Florida Passport) was our steadfast guide from house to house. Despite the storm, we were able to get through all 10 houses in one night and we are excited to share our definitive rating of each experience. The rain even stopped in time for the last viewing of the fantastic fountain show, “Ghoulish: A Halloween Tale”. Although many of the food kiosks and scarezones didn’t begin operating until later in the night, we thoroughly enjoyed walking through the park after dark and exploring the many different rides, activities and experiences that accompanied the arrival of HHN31 at Universal Studios Orlando! All of this and more in our vlog below - check it out!
