Blasting Off to Space 220!

In today's vlog, we're blasting off to Space 220, the newest full-service restaurant in EPCOT's World Discovery! We scored this highly sought-after reservation and could not wait to experience this uniquely-themed Walt Disney World restaurant. And we could not ask for better company to dine with, because we're reuniting with our friends Mitch and Devon from the Roadside Trippers YouTube channel!

What really sets this dining experience apart is the top-notch theming, you really feel like you are in Centauri Space station! The dining room, despite being full when we arrived, was quiet and calm, making it a very pleasant environment for dining. There was always something new to glance outside the large “windows” and once the dining room cleared out for the night, we almost had the place to ourselves! Therefore, we highly recommend trying for a later reservation if possible. We started off the evening with some hand-crafted cocktails that taste as good as they look, especially the Planetary Punch. Dinner at Space 220 includes a “prix fixe” menu where you select a starter, entrée, and dessert. The highlight of the meal was the vegan carrot cake, a crowd pleaser for everyone in our dining party (vegan or not)!

As a new restaurant to WDW, we anticipate menu changes in the future as the chefs figure out what still needs tweaking for an optimum dining experience. We would love to return for lunch sometime, as the menu differs slightly from the dinner menu. Overall, our “out of this world” voyage to Space 220 was well worth the trip! Check out our vlog below to get a ‘taste’ of the experience!
