A trip to central Florida is not complete without a visit to our favorite Walt Disney World park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This visit, we decided to splurge on one of our bucket list DAK experiences…the Wild Africa Trek! This add-on, extra magical VIP experience is a 3-hour behind-the-scenes tour that includes lunch, complimentary experience photos and so much more!
Directly across the street from Seaworld Orlando lies a tropical hideaway where dozens of aquatic and avian animal species are allowed to run, play and interact with guests under the watchful eyes of the resort staff. We had never been to Discovery Cove, an all-inclusive day resort, until the summer of 2024 - and after visiting for the first time, we couldn’t wait to share our experience!

One does not simply sleep in on the first day of a Walt Disney World vacation; as it happened, we were ready to hit the ground running, and our first gate was the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow…more conventionally known as EPCOT. So, what did we think? Was Buc-ee’s truly worth all the hype?
Each year brings new treats, sweets and savory food items to Hersheypark, and it’s become a tradition of ours to take a little stroll through our home park and pick up some of the new and interesting culinary creations to see what we think. It’s become an annual tradition of ours to make our way to Busch Gardens Williamsburg at least once every summer towards the end of Food & Wine season to check out all the delectable dishes that the event offers! In our opinion, this is one of the best festivals at the park, because the variety of food and entertainment offerings increases exponentially! So, what’s new for 2024?
This year, we made our glorious return to Dorney Park, home of the new-for-2024 B&M dive coaster Iron Menace! The park’s latest addition is its first new coaster in almost twenty years, and stands at 160 feet with a 95-degree drop all but consuming the skyline. Naturally, a coaster of this make, scale and reputation drew coaster enthusiasts from all over the country, and we were proud to be among them!
When we made the decision to attend FanExpo Philadelphia, there were a number of headlining celebrities that we were excited to meet, and - consequently - we decided to budget for VIP weekend admission. At a staggering $449 per person, we made it our mission to determine whether or not the VIP Experience was worth the price!

The Holiday Inn Estes Park is not merely a punch-in, punch-out hotel like many of the ‘value’ properties within the IHG collection. We had an amazing stay at this unique and expansive resort, and found that it offers many amenities rarely included as part of a deluxe hotel stay, let alone a stay in so beautiful an area!

After a year of travels, explorations, experiences and endeavors, our haunter hearts finally found their way back to Laurel’s House of Horror for the 2024 Love is Blind event - bringing us full circle and reuniting us with some of our favorite ghouls and goblins for the second annual Valentine’s Day event at this small and spooky attraction in Laurel, MD!
