After visiting the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel (Netherlands) in the summer of 2023, we were quick to fall in love with this charming Dutch theme park. But as the temperatures drop and the sky clouds over, will the winter experience be able to hold a candle to the summer experience? We made a glorious return to the Efteling this past November with the goal of answering that very question.
Every winter for the past fourteen years, the historic city of Amsterdam has been transformed into an open-air art gallery. The Amsterdam Light Festival commissions installations from a diverse group of artists from around the world, which then go to become public displays throughout the city during the event - and when the sun sets, these exhibits come to life with stunning lights, projections, colors and reflections.
With a purported ten million lights, four winterized roller coasters and six seasonal shows, we're kicking off the holiday season with our first time at Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Christmas Town! Join us on this special seasonal adventure as we connect with old friends and make some new ones at this winter event!
