Thomas Town™ and the Classic Kennywood "Woodies"
Knowing that this would be our first and only trip to Kennywood this year, we planned ahead! After a great day at the park on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, we returned right at opening on the following Sunday morning to visit Thomas Town before it was overrun with the target demographic (children). They say that you shouldn’t meet your heroes, but Thomas the Tank Engine was just as charming in real life as he appears on TV! We also got to partake in Jack Rabbit’s 100th season, and got a re-ride or two in with the extra hours of the day. Check out our vlog for the full day’s experience!
