Breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace Does Not Disappoint!
In our most recent vlog, we return to Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort, this time to try the very popular character breakfast. We had a fabulous dinner experience at Topolino’s during a previous visit, and had heard nothing but good things about this breakfast, so expectations were set pretty high! This also marked our first character meal together, and we were eager to see what the return of character dining was like mid-pandemic.
Our meal started off on the right foot, with a glass of Walt Disney World’s famous POG juice (that’s passionfruit, orange, and guava) which came with the fixed price of the dining experience. Katie also indulged with a POG juice mimosa - for an additional charge - which paired perfectly with our first course of various pastries and delicious spreads.
The featured characters at the Topolino’s breakfast include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Donald Duck, dressed to impress as a painter, a poet, a dancer, and a sculptor. For now, the characters come around the restaurant mostly one at a time, pausing in designated socially distant spots to greet guests throughout the meal. Sadly, still no hugs or autographs, but you can grab a great selfie from most any vantage point and of course speak to the characters quite easily. During our meal, we saw most of the characters more than once, and they will all join together at least once to perform a little dance during your experience. Our entrees were delicious with generous portions and our service was top notch, just as we experienced with our previous dinner visit. For a more in-depth review of our breakfast, and to see Katie lose her mind over Donald Duck, be sure to check out the vlog!
