Our Stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge!
There’s only one place on Disney property - or indeed, most any central Florida property - where you can wake up to the sight of giraffes grazing on a stretching savanna, pop downstairs for a spot of breakfast at an African-inspired buffet and go straight for a dip in a temperature-controlled pool, all before your day at the Walt Disney World parks has even begun. During our recent visit for the RunDisney Princess Half Marathon weekend, we decided to splurge on a Savanna-view room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) and we could not have been more pleased with the return we received on our investment! Never have we felt more relaxed, or more compelled to spend a full ‘resort day’ on property, then we did during our 4-night stay at Jambo House.
