Following a breakout debut in 2024, Hera’s Nightmare returned to the TownMall of Westminster bigger and bolder for its second season. Now spanning 27,000 square feet and offering new mazes, immersive sets and expanded midway attractions, this award-winning haunt is quickly cementing itself as a Maryland must-do!
Maryland’s newest haunted attraction, Hera’s Nightmare, awoke from hibernation this May for their first-ever ‘halfway to Halloween’ event at the TownMall of Westminster. The haunt’s three attractions have been newly-transformed into a candy-coated fever dream, and we were delighted to have received press invitations to the debut event and to get an inside look at this special one-night event!
Hera’s Nightmare, Maryland’s award-winning first-year haunted attraction, returned this weekend with a first-of-its-kind event called the “Cursed Cottontail”, retheming all three scare mazes with Wonderland nightmares, mutant candy makers and bloodthirsty rabbits. After missing most of Hera's inaugural events last year, we leapt at the chance to visit for their eggs-citing Easter special!
