2026 marked another successful year for LeftField Media’s annual Awesome Con event, bringing celebrities, artists, cosplayers, craftsmen and charitable organizations together for a three-day exhibition throughout the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.
April 2025 saw our return to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for another year of Awesome Con, Washington DC’s biggest celebration of comics, pop culture and all things geek chic. A regular event for more than a decade, this convention has become something of an annual tradition for us; and we couldn’t have been more excited to dive back into the the atmosphere, the exhibitors, the cosplay, and everything else that makes Awesome Con awesome!
Awesome-Con 2024 brought together fans of comics, sci-fi, gaming, and pop culture for a weekend packed with cosplay, collectibles, and immersive experiences at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. From an incredible exhibitor floor and artist alley to roaming droids and a star-studded celebrity guest list, the event was a dream for collectors and creatives alike.
